Thanks for visiting my blog! I have never traveled with kids so it's hard to say if La Loma would be okay for a one year old. My biggest concerns would be that it's so remote, accessible only by boat, and also that the cabins are very open and are built up on a steep slope. Then again, the owners, Henry and Margaret, have a small child and they seem to do just fine. You could always email them and ask.
